Barbara E. Rice, age 77 of Derby died Monday, April 4, 2016 in Madison Health Hospital. She was born July 20, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio. Daughter of the late Dwight and Myrtle Spangler.
Preceded in death by husband, George H. Rice (April 2013).
Survived by her loving daughter Jacqueline Rice of Harrisburg; sister Jean (Jim) Conway of Harrisburg; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Laura Clark of the Derby United Methodist Church will officiate with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
