Betty May (Trickel ) Bush passed away on Tuesday, May 23 at home with her three children, ( Cheryl, Janet, and James), by her side; along with her long time friend, who feels like a long lost sister, Jody Nida.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Sterlie M. Bush, granddaughter Jennifer Morris, twin sister Bonnie Carr, sisters Mary Ward and Geraldine Lazenby, and brother Richard Trickel.
She is survived in death by her children Cheryl Morris, Janet Adams (Tim), James Bush (Wanda), grandchildren Jason Morris (Kristina), Bryce Adams (Melissa), Cody Adams (Paige), Trevor Adams (Brooke), Hilary Bush, Michael Bush, and Kyle Bush. Great grandchildren Emma Smith, Quorra and Logan Morris, Madison and Mason Adams, Kaiden, Brody, and Harper Adams, Henry Adams, Lilith, Robert Jr., Rhiannon, and Maggie Fitzsimmons.
Betty loved sewing, crocheting, and was an avid reader of books. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren gave her so much joy!
Pastor John Keating will be leading Betty’s service on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Porter-Tidd funeral home in Mt. Sterling with visitation hours from 10:30am- 12 and the service immediately following. She will be interned at Pleasant Cemetery next to her husband Sterlie.
A light burned out here, but she will shine bright in heaven.
