Bryan Edward Montgomery, age 51, of London, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. He was born September 6, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio to Frederick Montgomery and Linda (Wheeler) Montgomery. He was preceded in death by father Frederick Montgomery, father-in-law Victor Stires and mother-in-law Kathy (Wright) Stires.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Jennifer of London, mother Linda Montgomery of London, his sons, Bryan Montgomery II of London, Matthew Montgomery of West Jefferson, and his daughter, Victoria Montgomery of London. Brother-in-law Jacob (Lydia) Stires of Obetz. Aunt Donna and Uncle Mick Owens of London. Cousin, Steve Owens of North Carolina.

Bryan and Jennifer shared 25 years together, marriage of 23 years in 2001.

Bryan was a caring, loving, hard working husband, father, and son. Throughout his life, he carried a spectacular humor that brought smiles and laughter to all that loved him. He spent over 29 years working at M.H. EBY INC. as an outstanding welder. Bryan was a man of many hobbies and interests. Watching Michigan Wolverines and Carolina Panthers football with his family. He would love to go out for rides on his GT mountain bike which brought back memories of when he would ride and do tricks on his bmx bike when he was younger.

There was one thing that Bryan always loved doing, cooking on his grill. He put so much love into the food he grilled for his family. With his new grill, he was so excited because it was one that he always wanted. He got to build it and start a wonderful relationship with Yorick (future son-in-law) Bryan also loved Star Wars, especially Boba Fett. He was very patriotic and loved shooting his guns.

Bryan was always there for us in the darkest of times and always had a comforting hand and amazing smile. Either cheering his family or friends up with his amazing sense of humor. Or simply just being near him, you felt his love. He has many best friends that considered him as a brother. Bryan was a light in many lives, most importantly his family. He will forever shine bright in our hearts.

The family will receive friends and family for Visitation on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm, where Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MOUNT STERLING, OH, 43143.
