Charles "Charlie" W. Neff

Charles W. “Charlie” Neff, age 88, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, met his Savior on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Born in Pickaway County, Ohio to the late Clyde and Harriott Neff, Charlie was a graduate of Mt. Sterling High School, Class of 1955. He married his high school sweetheart, Mevelyn Crawford on December 18, 1955. Charlie was a draftsman for many years with Versa Construction before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Mevelyn, and his brother-in-law Michael and his wife Sue Crawford. Charlie is survived by his loving family: his son and daughter-in-law Kirk & Susan Neff, his daughter and son-in-law Carrie Ann & Nick Betz; his five grandchildren: Andrea (Dustin) Dryer, Patrick Neff, Megan (Justin) Olejniczak, Claire (Cory) Molineaux, and Julie (Will) Leaisure; his great-grandchildren Payton and Reese Molineaux; brother-in-law Danny (Sierra) Crawford, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Charlie was a life-long member of the MT. STERLING FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 226 North Market Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where family will receive friends from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. THURSDAY and where his Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 2026. Charlie will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Mevelyn at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
