David Green

David E Green, Jr. age 67 of Mt. Sterling died August 31, 2018 in OSU Medical Center.  He was born December 10, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio.  David was a Water Plant Operator for both Mt. Sterling and the city of Columbus.  He was an avid Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by his father, David E Green, Sr. and sister Joyce. He is survived by his mother, Edna Jane Green; loving wife, Nancy (Rapp) Green; son, David E Green, III and his wife Patricia; brothers Bobby Green and Jeff Green; sister Jody Nida; granddaughters Brittany Cunningham, Megan Green, Kaitlyn Smart, and Jessica Green; great-granddaughters, Nevaeh, Aviona, and Ayla. Family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm. on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 am with family receiving friends one hour prior to time of service. Rev. Jim Blankenship officiating with the interment following in Madison Mills Cemetery.
