Donald Compton

Donald J. Compton, age 84, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  He was a graduate of Columbus Central High School, Class of 1954.  Don was a retired truck driver with McNicholas Motor Freight for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents Pearl and John Compton and his son Donnie Compton.  Don is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jo Ann Compton, his son Dennis (Cyndi) Compton, his daughter Rhonda Compton, his grandson Derek Compton, great-grandchildren Domenic and Carter Compton, and many friends.  Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00p.m. FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 2021 at PLEASANT CEMETERY, 14220 Era Road, Mt.
