Doris Butcher

Doris E. Butcher, age 85, of Grove City, passed away October 16, 2016. She worked at the Orient Prison as a Manager and retired from We Care Nursing Home. Doris enjoyed camping and loved spending time with family. Preceded in death by husband Pearl Butcher, sons Gregory (Michelle) and Gary Butcher. Survived by children Stephen (Vivian) Butcher and Ronald (Donna) Butcher, siblings Jack, Gene, Mary and Betty, grandchildren Richard (Danielle) Butcher, Rushelle (Todd) Weakley, Josh Butcher, Sandy and Lisa Butcher, great grandchildren Grace, Bradyn, Noah, Abby, Siera, Devon, Steven, Michael, Stephen, Faith and Shawn, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19, 2016 6-8 pm at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143; where funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, October 20, 2016. Interment Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
