Dorothy Ann Wade

Dorothy Ann Wade, age 74, of Mt. Sterling, OH, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 12, 2020. Dorothy was born October 9, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio. She was a graduate of Fairbanks High School and Ohio University. Dorothy retired from Pickaway County Job and Family Services. She loved Christmas, going out to eat and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandkids. The boys loved eating ice cream cones and watching Disney movies with her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Pauline (Butcher) Pence, her husband of 51 years, Larry Wade, her sister Geraldine (Gerry) Wheeler and her brothers Carl Pence and Paul Edward Pence. Dorothy is survived by her twin sister JoAnne (Alan) Jones, daughters Mary Wade and Nancy (Cary) Rice, grandchildren: Bianca (Justin Puckett and Tyler Rice, great-grandchildren: Hunter, Jayce and Levi Puckett, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. THURSDAY, OCTOBER15, 2020 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt.
