Edith Redding

Edith Redding, age 87 of Mt. Sterling, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by her loving family.  She passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her residence.  Born December 10, 1930 in Louisa, Kentucky.  A member of Sedalia Church of Christ in Christian Union. Preceded in death by her parents, Martin Potter and Ethel (Soards) Potter; husband, Francis L. Redding; brothers Homer Potter, Creed Potter, Martin Potter and James Potter; sisters, Roberta Schwartz, Anna Elizabeth Potter amd Mildred Ryan. Survived by children; Dennis Redding, Diana Crawford, and Brenda (Phil) Yahn; 3 grandchildren Jan Crawford, Ashley (Matthew) Sanderson, and Joshua Yahn; great-granddaughter Skyla Sue Sanderson; and close friends. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Dortha Ross and Rev. Gordon Ell officiating with the interment following in Madison Mills Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00.
