Nancy introduced Flem to the love of his life her dear friend Joann.

Flem loved God and served as an ordained preacher. He enjoyed his family, his friends, and people in general. He was a man with a pure and true heart, that always put others first. He was nicknamed by many as “The Candy Man”. When you saw Flem coming, it was with pockets full of candy to pass out to everyone. He was a blue jean bib overall-white t-shirt wearing, hardworking, giving, honest, loving, caring, thoughtful, and kind man his entire life! Flem brought smiles and joy wherever he went. If you were loved by Flem, you knew you had truly been loved!

He retired from PPG in Circleville, Ohio. He was a member of the New Holland Church of Christ & Christian Union, and the Monroe Men’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, Church, hosting family and friends to celebrate the 4 th of July with fireworks. He loved greeting everyone with a big bear hug, chasing the grandkids around making them laugh, and loving everyone in his life with sincerity. He gave all he had and asked for nothing in return. He was one of a kind! When he left this world to enter Heaven’s gates, he left a lasting presence in everyone’s heart that had the pleasure of being part of his.
