Freddie Puckett

Freddie G. Puckett, Sr., age 74 of Mt. Sterling died June 9, 2018 in Fayette County Memorial Hospital.  He was born April 7, 1944 in Orient, Ohio.  Son of the late Walter Puckett and Thelma (Jenkins) Puckett. Freddie was retired from Buckeye Steel.  He loved fishing, gardening, an avid Buckeye fan and most of all his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean (Helms) Puckett; grandson Joshua M Puckett; siblings Faye Howard, Ron "Pete" Puckett. Survived by children Rebecca Puckett, Freddie (Cindy) Puckett, Jr.; siblings June Furrow, Marge Williamson, Shirley Puckett, Walt (Diane) Puckett, and Larry Puckett; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. James Blankenship officiating with the interment following in Darbyville Cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
