Gene "Roger" Donohoe, Jr.

Gene “Roger” Donohoe Jr. age 72 of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. He was an avid farmer and held many positions throughout the years in agriculture. Most recently he was a transportation driver for Fayette Transportation and enjoyed and took pride in helping the community. He also enjoyed working with the youth and coaching Monroe Baseball during Ryan’s childhood. He would frequently tell stories about his time as a coach throughout the years. He also spent time on the fair board for Pickaway County and was a 4-H advisor. Roger never met a stranger and was always happy to help others. His main passion was raising and caring for his pigs. Those who know him know his love for pigs.

He was preceded in death by his father Gene R. Donohoe. He is survived by his loving mother Mildred M. Donohoe, his son Ryan (Heather) Donohoe, his brother Robin (Diana) Donohoe, grandchild Rylee Donohoe and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation has occurred and the family requests you join them for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, May 31^st from 5pm-8pm at the Monroe Township Building, 12452 St Rt 316, Mt Sterling, Ohio.
