Gideon Robert Robinette

Gideon Robert Robinette, age 17, of Orient, Ohio, died tragically in a house fire along with his father Mark Robinette, and brother Liam Robinette, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
 
 Gideon is survived by his mother Andrea Robinette and his siblings, Nathanael Robinette, Elizabeth Robinette, Benjamin Robinette, Rebekah Robinette, Anna Robinette, Valiant Robinette, grandfather Walter Robinette, grandmother Hilda Trapani, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
 
 He was preceded in death by his papa Robert Trapani and grandmother Ellen Robinette.
 
 Gideon was a student at Ohio Christian University, and employed at El Canon, where he made friends and worked to perfect his Spanish. He was an avid learner, who enjoyed reading the Bible, theology, and the classics. He loved God with his whole heart, and looked forward to finding new ways to serve, and be a blessing to others. He worked in the sound booth at his church, as well as regularly painting or cleaning in the building, and serving in missions endeavors. He often looked for ways to encourage other young people. He was a passionate truth seeker with a contagious grin that lit up any room he entered. Gideon was gifted in writing. He used his skill in his studying, composing poetry, and sharing his gratitude with those he loved through notes and letters. He was a talented artist, and often drew plans for his church's many building projects. He was anxiously awaiting working with his mother to open a curriculum and culture library. Gideon was a blessing to his many friends and family. His overflowing, joyful spirit, love, and regular hugs will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Family will receive friends from 10:30a.m.-11:45a.m. SATURDAY, JANUARY 27, 2024 at FOUNDATION CHURCH, 44 Madison Street, Mt.
