Helen Mae Jacobs, age 89 of Mt. Sterling, passed away in Arbors of London. She was born July 2, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her parents Levi and Ada (Heffley) Mason; her wonderful husband of 53 years, Harold W. Jacobs; brother Floyd Mason.
She is survived by her son, Harold "Jake" Jacobs, Jr. of Mt. Sterling; sisters Betty Saint of Orange City, Florida and Marie Fisher of Gahanna; sister-in-law, Bonnie Mason of Upper Arlington.
A Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dan Shipley officiating with the interment in Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions to the charity or church of your choice.
