Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Overnight Transportation. He was 100% pure BUCKEYE and enjoyed street rodding, trains, playing Santa, and singing and dancing. He was the "Life of the Party"! He was also passionate about his love for the Lord.
Most important in his life was spending time with his loving family and many friends. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann (Hill) Chapin; daughters, Candy (Tony) Stewart, Mt. Sterling, Angie (Carl Cunningham) Stage, Mt. Sterling, Brandy (Brian Lowe) Burgoon, Mt. Sterling, and Jamie (Josh) Barnett, Trenton.
