James R. Dickerson, age 61 of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born July I, 1953 in West Liberty, Kentucky. He is the son of the late Charles Nathan Dickerson and Laura (Horton) Dickerson.
Survived by his wife, Nona; son Nathan Dickerson; grandson, Lyric James Dickerson; step-son Dean Ollom; sister Evelyn Delay; brothers Nathan Dickerson and Jerry Dickerson; Uncle Jack Maggard; nieces and nephews.
Special Remembrances will be given at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jerry Dickerson officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
