Jean S. Grady, age 93 of Mt. Sterling died March 26, 2013 in Mt. Carmel West Medical Center, Columbus. She was born April 8, 1919 in Cambridge, MD.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Sterling; Sterling Chapter #74 OES. When able she loved camping, travel, crochet, and a Sunday School Teacher of many years.
Preceded in death by parents Walter and Goldie (Meekins) Carter; husband Robert Grady; sisters Dorothy (Kip) Cleveland, Elizabeth Carter; brother William (Eldora) Carter.
She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Wilberta (Berdie) and Richard Cotton; granddaughter Jennifer Cotton, VA.; brother Richard (Margaret) Carter, Mt. Gilead, OH.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Mike Berne officiating with the interment following in Dennison Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
