Jennifer Yvette Stroup Rowe, age 39 of Washington C.H., died December 24, 2011 in Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born to Harley David Stroup & Mary Ann Bennington on June 6, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a 1990 graduate of Madison Plains High School and also attended Washington Court House.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harley David Stroup; paternal grandparents Ben Stroup and Idelle Satterfield; maternal grandparents Clara and Benny Bennington.
She is survived by children, Tyler Rowe, Logan Elayne Rowe, and Caden Smith; mother & step-father Mary Ann (Stroup) and Gary Cockerill of Washington C.H.; brothers & sister Benny Stroup, Cindy Stroup (Dennis) Compton, and Terry Stroup; maternal aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins; paternal aunts Martha Kay Holstein and Nellie Mae Debo, both of Mt. Sterling, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5 – 8 pm at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. A Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Dortha Ross officiating. The final resting place will be in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up for the surviving children at Huntington Bank.
