Jerry Lee Thompson Sr., 69, of Mt. Sterling Ohio, passed away Monday, November 11 th , 2019. Jerry was born to the late Lillie Wrightsel on April 17th , 1950 in Columbus, Ohio. He married the love of his life, Donna J. Parker in May of 1969, and has resided the past 37 years in Mt. Sterling. Jerry was loved and respected by all. He spent the majority of his life working as a construction worker. You name it, he did it. He was a “jack of all trades”, “The Drywall Man”. If he wasn't working, he was fishing. He would spend vacation time in Canada with Donna, fishing on their boat, and spending time with good friends. He would also take fishing trips with the guys. Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. Thompson; mother, Lillie Wrightsel; brothers, Terry Humphrey, Jesse Thompson, Bill Thompson, Jack Thompson, Jim Thompson; sisters, Janet “Pumpkin” Liff and Dorothy Sprague. Jerry is survived by children: Jerry (Sherry) Thompson Jr., Errick (Miranda) Thompson, George (Tara) Thompson Sr., Doreen (Parish) Baker; grandchildren: Anthony, Jasmine (James), Luke, Mercedes, Jacob, Lynna, Michaella, Constance, Erricka, George Jr.,Dakota, and Zoey; great grandchildren: AJ, Raelynn, Bowen, Jordan, Evelyn, and Nessa; brothers and sisters: Louie Thompson, Donald (Dina) Thompson, Paul (Lynn) Humphrey, Rick (Debbie) Humphrey, Eugene (Michelle) Humphrey, Jenny (Ron) Shannon, and numerous family and friends. Friends and family may come to call at Porter Tidd Funeral Home 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43140 on Sunday, November 17 th from 2 PM – 4 PM. Service will be Monday, November 18 th at Noon with grave-site service at Pleasant Cemetery to follow.
