Jimmy Osborne

Jimmy Osborne, 72, passed away on October 12, 2025, in Grove City, Ohio. Born on November 27, 1952, in Aiken, South Carolina, Jimmy lived a life marked by resilience, dedication, and unwavering love for his family.

He was the beloved son of Lula May Gurganious and Charles Osborne and was preceded in death by them as well as his brother Clark Osborne. Jimmy is remembered with deep affection by his siblings: brothers Charlie Osborne, Dave Osborne, and Doug Osborne (and Doug’s wife Connie), and sisters Gloria Newman, Stella Hudson, and Etta Osborne.

Jimmy’s legacy lives on through his children: daughter Amanda Murray and her husband Reggie Murray; son Matthew Osborne and Matthew’s girlfriend Markena Rose; and son Adam Osborne and Adam’s wife Brittany Osborne. He was a proud grandfather to Trenton Ross, Colton Murray, Caleb Murray, Abigail Murray, Kaylinn Osborne, Skylar Osborne, Breonna Kirby, Caitie Kirby, Addison Grace Osborne, Rylee Marie Osborne, and Boone Jamison Osborne. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

Known for his strength and perseverance, Jimmy faced numerous health challenges throughout his life but never allowed them to define him. He fought bravely until his final day. His determination was matched only by his work ethic—he was the hardest worker those who knew him had ever seen. Even through adversity, he remained steadfast in providing for his children until the day he retired.

Jimmy's kindness and generosity were constants in the lives of those around him. He would do anything for his kids and family—a true testament to the depth of his love. To those who knew him best, he was not only a provider but also a source of strength and comfort. His children remember him as the best dad they could have asked for.
