John David (J.D.) Justice, 82 of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, at Copper Knoll nursing facility.
He was born on October 5, 1942, in Grayson, KY, to David Wilson Justice and Audrey Mae (Elliott) Justice. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: James Ronald, Billy Jack, Gary Lee, and Jimmy Dean; three sisters: Carrie Ann, Edna Mary, and Dorothy Fullen.
He is survived by a son: Jody Justice (Randy Taylor) of Orlando, Florida and a daughter Jeanette Justice of Washington Court House, Ohio; two grandchildren: Jared (Roxie) Justice of Mt. Sterling, Ohio and Janaye Gault of Washington Court House, Ohio; two great grandchildren: Hadlie and Ezekiel; three sisters: Marie Grubaugh of Newark, Ohio; Sue Caulley of New Holland, Ohio and Lou Cohagen of Washington Court House, Ohio plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was an Army veteran and served in Germany for 2 years.
He retired from Versa in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, after 35 years.
He enjoyed hunting, going to the casino, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends. He was a kind and true friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Porter-Tidd Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
A private family graveside service was held on May 23 at New Holland Cemetery with Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating.
