John Eugene Jones

John Eugene Jones, age 81, of Jeffersonville, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He retired from Madison Seed Company, and was formerly employed with Mount Sterling Fence Factory. John enjoyed classic car shows, boating, fishing, camping, and cooking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fur babies Zoey, and Baby.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Augusta (Beavers) Jones; daughter Gwen Kimbler; 1^st wife, Shelva Jean Manns; cousins, Ralph Chamberlin, and William Dillon.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Kathy; children, Christine Brown, Kevin Jones, John Jr Jones, Damen Jones, Nichole Jones, Corenia Snyder, James Snyder IV, Elnora Snyder, and Johnny Snyder; sister Brenda Jones; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Sherman Manns, 2^nd wife Christina Hocomb, and close friend Steve “Poppy” Poplin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Bible Baptist Temple, 4361 St. Rt. 41, Washington Court House, Ohio, 43160.
