JoLynn (Cathel) Davis, age 51 of Mt. Sterling, went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2012. She was born August 16, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio. JoLynn was married to Mike Davis October 10, 1981.
She was a retired Florist at Kroger on 665.
She is survived by husband James (Mike, JD) Davis; daughter, Sarah Davis; son, Anthony “AJ” Davis; granddaughter, Isabella; Parents, Joe and Barb Cathel; Jackie and Roger Miller; Parents-in-law, James W. and Ina Davis; many surviving family and friends.
A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Edwin Martin officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Following the funeral a lunch will be served at the Harrisburg United Methodist Church. All are welcome. Family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 17th from 4 – 8 p.m. Casual dress is requested by the family.
