Jonda L. Nance

On Sunday, November 30, 2025, our beloved mother, Jonda Nance, passed away peacefully at home. She was born on October 20, 1939, and graduated from Darby High School in Derby, Ohio, in 1958. Jonda devoted 27 years of service to Dr. Byron Blake in Grove City, Ohio, where she was a valued and trusted member of the practice. 

Jonda is preceded in death by her parents, Kay and Fern McGuire; her husband, Ronnie Nance; her son-in-law, Sam Norman; and her granddaughter, Sheri Lynn Downs.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Brad) Walker and Ronna Norman; sons Paul (Chrissy) Hill and Ron (Erica) Nance; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. Special thanks to Caregiver Emma Abrams and family friend Paulette Maynard.

Visitation will be on FRIDAY, December 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mount Sterling, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pleasant Cemetery, 14220 Era Road, Mount Sterling, Ohio.
