Lawrence Jewett

Lawrence W. Jewett, age 74, of Mount Sterling, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Larry graduated from Grove City High School Class of 1966. He loved history and he was a proud United States Army Veteran and an avid collector of military items, and guns, Larry attended numerous gun shows, he owned his own photography studio, and he was a former bakery owner in Grove City, worked at O.G. Sambo, he worked at Jewett’s IGA throughout his life, he enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and was an avid fan. 

He is preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Joan Jewett; brothers: Ronnie, Danny, and Steve Jewett; son: Paul Bryan Jewett.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Rosemary Jewett; daughter: Lisa Jewett; sister-in-law: Bonnie Nelson; grandchildren: Bryan, and Ethan McIntier; many nephews, nieces, and a host of friends. 

The family will welcome friends for Visitation at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main Street, Mount Sterling, OH, 43143, on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Starr officiating.
