Linda McKirgan

d. January 4, 2021

On Monday, January 4, 2021,  Linda  McKirgan
went home to be with the Lord after a long, valiant fight against covid.

Linda grew up in the Mount Sterling area and lived in several states during her lifetime, though she always returned home to Ohio. In fact, she spent the past 32 years in Ohio, with the last 16 being in her Hillsboro, Ohio home.

Over the years she always worked hard, freely giving of her time and herself. She belonged to the VFW (South High street post), AMVETS, and the American Legion. Most recently she volunteered at the food pantry, taught Sunday school to young children, and was recently approved to do a 3-month internship at the Galilean Children's Home.

She was an excellent saleswoman and frequently raised funds for several worthwhile causes. Linda returned to school as an adult and obtained a degree in accounting. She sold business franchises, obtained her real estate license, and, worked with her friend and business partner, Ted R. Howard, Esquire for over 20 yrs, managing  Arlington Field of Honor Cemetary at Gender rd. And route 33.

Linda was preceded in death by;
mother, Ruth  Weyrick (Puckett), step-father, Stanley Weyrick, father, James G. McKirgan, husband, Donald Holmes, life long friend, Robert "Pete" McPherson, and long time friend, Ted Howard.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Tammy Cirotto-Anderson (McPherson) (Mark), her beloved son, Chad Disbennett (Danielle), her grandchildren, Matthew Cirotto (Ashley), Jared Cirotto (Ashley), Danica Disbennett, and Cooper Disbennett.  Great-grandchildren; Braidon, Jaxon, and Dominic. She also leaves behind her Sisters, Mary Burba, Jane and Jean, and her sisters by choice Mary Eicher and Barbara Yoder. Aunts, Marie and Shirley, and Uncle Jack, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

For her friends and family, her absence is leaving a large hole in our hearts and lives. She touched so many people as she lived her dash!

Mom, Nunny, Sister, Friend, no matter what you were called, it broke our hearts to loose you, but you did not go alone, for part of our hearts went with you the day God carried you home!

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 17, 2021, at the Grace Community Church 7224 E. Main St.,  South Solon, Ohio,  at 3 pm.
A family showing time will precede the service from 215 to 230pm, with a public visitation from 2:30 to 3 pm. The family request that all attendees wear masks. PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME
