Lora (King) Bowers, Born May 13, 1950, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Being Native American, Lora loved being outside, gardening, and fishing. She loved learning new things while polishing her skills on old things like canning and freezing garden vegetables. 

Her favorite hobby was painting and horseback riding. She never knew a stranger and welcomed everyone into her home.

Preceded in death by parents father John William King and Blanchie (Pounders) King, son Todd Hofflander, nephew John Matthew Holmes.

Survived by loving husband Steve Bowers of Mt. Sterling, daughter Jenifer Bostick of Grangeville, Idaho, sister Sherry (Kris) Carson of Tonasket, Washington, daughter-in-law Julie Hofflander of Lucille, Idaho, and niece Autumn Buchert of Tonasket, Washington.

Grandchildren-Cody Pribble Lake Tahoe, CA. Taylor Bostick (Allysa), Grangeville, Idaho. Miranda (Tucker) Boyd, Lucille, Idaho, Isaac Hofflander, Lucille, Idaho

Great-grandchild Joshua Bostick.

She did not consider she had stepchildren or grandchildren, for they were a part of her family.

Karen Bowers of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Dr. Howard Bowers (Tanna) of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Amanda ( Rigoberto) Quintanilla of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, and Dustin Bowers of Mt. Sterling, Ohio.

Grandchildren Devon, Drew, Kady Bowers, Mason and Beau Bowers, Reece, Cruz, Amaya Quintanilla.
