Lorene Hale, 76 of Mt. Sterling, Ohio passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born July 4, 1938 in Scioto County, Ohio. Daughter of the late Morris and Florence (Days) Angel.
Also preceding her in death was her husband of 57 years, Hysell Hale, a son Elliott Hale and a daughter Lois Hale.
She is survived by daughters Cheryl (Hale) Roberts (Carlos Roberts) of Wilmington, Ohio, Tamara (Hale) Wilson of Fredericksburg, Virginia and son Allen Hale (Michelle Ours-Hale) of Washington Court House, Ohio; her grandchildren Joshua Wilson of Roy, Utah, Brianna Roberts of Wilmington, Ohio, Aiden and Justin Pence of Washington Court House, Ohio; and a brother James (Jimmy) Angel of Franklin Furnace, Ohio.
For many years she was lovingly referred to as the "ding-dong" Avon lady.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Four Seasons of Washington Nursing and Rehabilitation c/o Memory Care Unit, 201 Courthouse Parkway, Washington C.H., Ohio 43160-6001. Home in Washington Court House, Ohio as they have been and continue to be such great comfort and support for our family.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Rev. Dean Queen officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5 - 7 pm.
