Louis “Gene” Caudill, age 81 of Madison Mills, born August 24, 1940, Delaware, OH., passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Jean Caudill (2021); mother, Mary Magdalene Blair Caudill; father, Robert Caudill; and sister, Mary Janalee “Jan” Henry.
Gene is survived by children, Cindy (Rick) Dingus, Anthony (Yvonne) Caudill, Christal Caudill (Patrick Sells), and Shawn (Lisa) Caudill; grandchildren, Mitchell (Tennille) Dingus, Tiffani (Matthew) Lavender, Spencer (Rachel) Caudill, Ariel (Harry) Castro Manarez, Lacey Caudill, Nicholas Sells, Abagail Sells, Caroline Sells, and Nate Caudill; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Mary) Caudill, and Elbert (Brenda) Caudill; sister-in-law, Karen Webb; and brother-in-law Ivan Webb.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MOUNT STERLING, OH, 43143. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 P.M... Interment Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling, OH.
