Mary D. Troxel

Mary D. Troxel, age 82, formerly of Mt. Sterling died Friday, January 6, 2012 in Kobacker House Hospice at Riverside. She was born August 14, 1929 in Sparta, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Sarah (Moore) Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Albert D. Troxel; brothers Clarence Stevens, Wilmer Stevens, William (Martha) Stevens, and George Stevens; sisters Chole (Ray) Organ, Stella Vipperman.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary K. Troxel; granddaughter, Amy (Troxel) Pontius; great granddaughter, Alexandria Kathleen Pontius; sisters Ellen (Neal) Rogers, Maxine Duston; sister-in-law Irene Stevens.
A Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Pastor Susan Havens officiating with the burial following in Yankeetown Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00, time of service.
