Michael Bergman

Michael F Bergman, 63 of Mt. Sterling, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus.  He was born June 27, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio.  Mike was a farmer and cattleman, Trustee of Mt. Sterling Library, a Muzzle loading gun enthusiast, Conservationist with NRCS, an avid cyclist, and he loved canoeing, kayaking and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert F and Helen June (Schmidt) Bergman; and wife, Kathryn Anne Bergman (12-15-2008). He is survived by son, Benjamin Bergman of Mt. Sterling. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Big Plain Cemetery.  All are welcome to attend.  There will be no public visitation.  Arrangements were made under the direction of PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Sterling Library, 60 West Columbus St., Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143.
