Nancy E. Mitchem, age 88 of South Solon, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Arbors West Nursing Home, West Jefferson. She was born August 20, 1925 in Tazewell County, W. VA. Daughter of the late Peter and Jessie (Caldwell) Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, John Mitchem; children John (Virginia) Mitchem, Steve (Nancy) Mitchem, Debbie (Tom) Montesanti, Nancy (Michael) Wood, David (Emily) Mitchem, Brian (Lisa) Mitchem; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Patricia Looney.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia with Rev. Gordon Ell officiating. There will be no public visitation.
Family suggest memorial contributions to Fresenius Dialysis Center in London or Nationwide Childrens’ Hospital in Columbus.
