Nancy Louise Tackett

Nancy Louise Tackett, age 84, of London, Ohio (formerly of Bloomingburg, Ohio), left this life surrounded by her loved ones. Nancy was known for being funny and had a great sense of humor. She was a faithful member of the Sedalia Christ in Christian Union. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed attending Church, going yard selling, and shopping at the local thrift stores. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her fur babies. Nancy will be dearly missed by those of us who knew her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents Lonnie and Esther (Jenkins) Little, and siblings, Helen, Kenny, Jackie, Tommy, Steve, Richard, Mike, and Charles, two sons: Jeff and Chad, one Grandson: Chad Tackett, and brother-in-law David Noel.

Leaving behind her five children: Nancy Annette (Steve) Howell of North Lewisburg, Brian Tackett of Starr, South Carolina, Regina (Ed) Hardesty of South Charleston, Celeste Neel (Lucas Green) of Sedalia, and Heath (Missy)Tackett of London; Sister: Wanda Noel of Washington C.H., two Brothers: Jerry (Vickie) of Greenfield, and Danny (Janet) Little of Alabama; grandchildren: Annette – Ciara, and Dustin, Jeff - Jami and Jeffery, Brian - Trevor, Gabrielle, Julaine, and Christiana, Regina - Michelle, Travis, Chad - Amber, Celeste - Nathan, Bryant, Seth, Heath – Matt, and Tyler; many great-grandchildren, family members, numerous friends, including her beloved fur baby Gracie.

The family will welcome friends for Visitation on THURSDAY, May 29, 2025, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MOUNT STERLING, OH, 43143. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, FRIDAY, May 30, 2025, at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Range Township Cemetery.

Special thanks to ViaQuest Hospice of Marysville, Ohio, Casey, Booke, and Heather for taking care of our mother, and also a Special thanks to all the staff at London Health and Rehab that took care of our mother.

Nancy’s children would like to extend a special thanks to Anne Wertz and April Pawlikowski, who came into their lives to help care for their mother over the last five years. You both were incredibly special to Mom and to us. You will always be part of our family. Mom loved you both dearly, and so do we.
