Pamela Sue (Hollar) Merritt

Pamela Sue (Hollar) Merritt, age 57, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly December 6, 2019 at Mount Carmel Hospital, Grove City, OH. She was born in Washington Court House, Ohio to John and Dolores “Kaye” Hollar. Pam was preceded in death by her father John Hollar, grandparents Raymond and Mary McGowan and Charles and Helen Hollar, parent-in-laws Austin and Naomi Merritt, and sister-in-law Julia Merritt. Pam is survived by her husband of 37 years, Martin L. Merritt, daughter Sarah (Adam) Marshall, granddaughters Ellie and Avery, mother Dolores “Kaye” Hollar, sister Lori (Robert) Miller, brothers-in-law Mark (Cindy) Merritt and Larry (Linda) Merritt, nephews John (Staci), Chad and Kyle Miller, grand-nephews Hayden and Eli Miller and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pam was employed, for the past 17 years, at Walmart DC 7012 in Washington Court House. Pam attended Heritage Memorial Church and was a 1981 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Pam loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them. She looked forward to her annual trip to the mountains of Tennessee, camping at Deer Creek State Park and was an avid OSU Buckeye Football fan. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00p.m. TUESDAY at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where her Funeral Service will be held 10:00a.m. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2019.  Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt.
