Pauline A. Musselman, age 85 of Orient, died Saturday evening, February 19, 2011 at Emerald Crossings in Dublin. She was born June 4, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio.
Member of the Derby United Methodist Church; Derby UMW; Derby Garden Club; City of Hope; and Sterling Chapter #74 O.E.S.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Mary (Shockley) Downs; husband, James R. Musselman; sisters, Mary Bell Rush, Martha Liff, and Helen Rogers.
She is survived by loving daughter, Becky (Charlie) Palmer of Dublin; son, Bob Musselman of Orient; 3 grandchildren Chris Palmer & his wife Stef, Jim Palmer & his wife Renee, of Dublin, Sara Ann (Palmer) & her husband Eric Lauterbach of Chicago, IL.; great grandchildren Avery, Makenzie, Kara, and Morgan; brothers-in-law, Jack Rogers and Earl Liff; The Musselman family which includes Ruth Jean Hubbell, Thomas & Florence, Neal & Betty, David & Bertie, and Carol Musselman. Special nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Leland Brehm officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 from 4 – 7 p.m. At 7:00 there will be an Order of the Eastern Star service in her honor.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions to the Derby United Methodist Church 11792 London Road, Derby, Ohio 43117.
