Phillip G. Doggett, age 63 of Mt. Sterling, Ohio died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Kobacker House of Riverside. He was born October 18, 1949 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
He was a Corrections Officer of CRC; served in the Army National Guard of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by parents Eugene and Dorthea (Bristow) Doggett; brothers Dan and Randall Doggett; an infant grandchild, Kennedy Lynn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana (Liff) Doggett; daughters Angela (Kevin) Griffin of Dublin, Arica (Joseph) Blunt of Mt. Sterling; 4 grandchildren Austin Blunt, Taylor Preece, Kaden Griffin, and Owen Blunt; sister Blenda (James) James; brothers Thomas (Kathy) Doggett, Steven (Joanie) Doggett, Mark (Jennifer) Doggett; sisters-in-law Sherry and Connie Doggett; brothers-in-law Sonny and Gary Liff;
Special Caregivers Blenda James and Nancy Lucas; Special Friends Shawn Stevens and Monty Baldridge.
A Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross and Rev. Ron Reynolds officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
