Phyllis Jane Hinton, age 74 of Darbyville, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Mt. Carmel West, Columbus. She was born Sept. 27, 1940 in Lawrence, Kentucky. Daughter of the late James and Delila (Scaggs) Certain.
Also preceding her in death husband Richard Hinton and son Jeffrey Manson.
She is survived by daughters Deborah Martin (Will Tipton), Barbara Sue Manson (Hans Schreier), and Murilyn Manson (Cindy Treash); sister Velma Wilkins; grandchildren Sherry Francis, Kreena Francis, Becky Stage, Kevin Stage, Brian Stage, Robert & Tina Manson, Adam and Alissa Jones; many great-grandchildren and step-daughters.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Denver Peters officiating with the burial following in Muhlenberg Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 pm.
