Rebecca J. Justice

Rebecca Jane “Becky” Justice, born February 5, 1951, in Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, in Grove City, Ohio. She was the beloved daughter of the late Carl and Thelma (Ackerman) Truman. Rebecca was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Stephen A. “Steve” Justice, her parents, and her sister Pat (Ray) Kuhns.

Becky was a loving mother and a phenomenal grandmother whose grandchildren meant the world to her. A high school graduate that attended London High School and where she met the love of her life, Steve. Together, they shared a lifetime of adventures from riding motorcycles and horseback riding to enjoying an extended stay on the island of Kauai. We take comfort in knowing that Becky and Steve are now reunited, embarking on their next great adventure together.

Rebecca’s faith in the Lord and the strength she showed through life’s many challenges remain an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She also had a gift for floral design and took a lot of pride in being the owner of her flower shop "Designs by Rebecca", which she operated for several years in London, Ohio.

She is survived by her children: Stephanie (Brad) Cormany of Grove City, OH; Stephen C. Justice (Amanda) of Chesterhill, OH, and Jason (Trisha) Justice of South Bloomfield, OH. She was a proud grandmother to Audra, Heather, Wesley, Cameron, Ethan, Justin, Trevor, Logan, Cheyenne, and Annabelle; and several great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Carl (Gerry) Truman, Judi (Jack) Atwell, Steven (Linda) Truman and Deb (Ben) Collier, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Rebecca’s family invites friends and loved ones to a visitation and funeral service on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH, 43143. The visitation will begin at 12:00PM and end at 1:00PM for the funeral service to start immediately after at 1:00PM. We will then go in procession to Range Cemetery.
