ADAMS Richard Stanley Adams, 79 of Orient, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center. He was born September 29, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio.
He retired from AEP (42 years); Army veteran; member of Canaan Land Freewill Baptist Church; an avid wood worker.
Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Bonnie (Shoeniau) Adams; sister Phyllis; son Larry.
Survived by wife of 60 years, Anna (Shultz) Adams; son Randy (Patricia) Adams of Columbus; grandson Brandon Adams (Laura) of Orient; granddaughter Randee (Charles) Hane of Columbus; great-grandchildren Quinn Adams (Michelle), Jonah and Chloe Hane; sister Patricia (Edward) Corbage of Michigan; several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2011 from 5 – 8 pm at Canaan Land Freewill Baptist Church 2777 Gantz Road, in Grove City. A Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10:00 am.
