Rickey Cherry

Rickey Lee Cherry, age 45 of New Holland, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Berger Hospital (ER) in Circleville.  He was born June 6, 1968 in Washington C.H., Ohio.

Rickey was employed by Rivers Family Farms.  He was an avid Harley Davidson rider.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Barbara Cherry; grandparents Bob & Francis Stone, Charles & Jessie Cherry.

He is survived by his father, Larry Cherry; brother Donnie (Connie) Cherry, sister Amy Taylor; Aunt & Uncle Mary Jane & Bob Chrisman; Best Friend Slim; and a host of friends.

A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Victor Slutz officiating with the burial following in New Holland Cemetery.

The Circleville Amvets Post #2256 will perform a military service for the Army veteran.  Family and Friends are welcomed to gather at Slim’s Place (Church Street) in New Holland following the service. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m.
