Robert N. Stires

Robert N. Stires, age 75, of Orient, Ohio, went to meet his Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Robert S and Hallie Stires, he was a 1968 graduate of Westfall High School. Throughout the years, Bob pastored at various churches affiliated with the Church of Christ of Christian Union. Currently, he attended Friendly Freewill Baptist Church in Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sonny & Jackie Gabbart; brothers-in-law, Bill Morrow, Terry Russell, and Steve Gabbart.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pam Stires; and sisters Kay (John) Emrick, Faye Morrow, and Michelle Carsey; sister-in-law Yolanda (Jim) Chapman, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, one great-great-nephew, and many friends.

The family will receive friends for Visitation on MONDAY, November 17, 2025, from 1:00pm-3:00pm, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 3:00pm, with Pastors Mark Russell and Pastor Canaan Chapman officiating, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W.
