STIRES Ronald Gene Stires, age 74 of Mt. Sterling died Monday, February 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born Sept. 2, 1936 in Pickaway County. Son of the late Thomas and Mabel (Riley) Stires.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Stires.
He is survived by children Randy and Karen Stires, Rick and Terressa Stires, Yvette and Bruce Brown, Rhonda Sesler and Mark Yeager, Julie and Ron Beauman, all of Mt. Sterling; 13 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 5 Brothers; Nieces & Nephews and many friends.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon until time of service.
