Rose L. Smalley

Smalley, Rose L., age 81, of Washington Court House, OH passed away on June 23, 2020. She was born on December 4, 1938, to the late Ralph and Mildred Stringfellow in London, Ohio. Rose joins in death her parents; husband William Smalley; children Bonnie, Patty, and Jerry Smalley. She leaves behind her children John Smalley, Timothy Smalley, Clarence Smalley, Bobby Smalley, Richard Smalley, and Debbie (Shawn) Myers; siblings Opel Stringfellow, John Stringfellow, Kenneth Stringfellow, and Mabel Stringfellow; grandchild Malynnda Cook; great-grandchildren Zane Cook and Patrick Redding. Also surviving are life-long friends Dorothy Barnett and Patricia Martin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in Rose's name. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, from 10:30 AM - 11 AM with the funeral service starting at 11 AM at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143. Due to the current health crisis friends are asked to observe social distancing and to wear a facial covering at the funeral home.
