Roy Lee Mack, age 84, of Mt Sterling, Ohio was welcomed Home into the loving hands of Jesus and joined his beloved wife, Janet, in Heaven on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Roy was born in West Virginia on Sept 21, 1937 to the late Everett and Elsie Elmore Mack. Roy was married to the love of his life, Janet L. Fannin Mack, for 63 years before she passed in May 2020. They had 7 children together and from there the family just kept growing! Roy served from 1956-1959 in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents and his loving wife Jan, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter Kimbra A Mack, brothers Ronald and Carlos Mack, special brother in law Dave Yost, sister in law Linda Mack, his father in law and mother in law Albert and Jenny Fannin, and sister in law Faye Fannin. He is survived by his children: Tambra (Charlie) Nunley Hollister, California; Roy A (Rhonda) Mack Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Renee (Gene) Hall Midway, Ohio; Les (Bertha) Mack Darbydale, Ohio, Chip (Karen) Mack Mt. Sterling, Oh and Ginger Mack (Chad) Circleville, Ohio. Grandchildren Mandi (Jason), Chance (Jennifer), McKendrea (Joe), Hollie (Michael), Danielle (Aaron), Sarah (Barry), Rebekah (Asa),  Bill, Alexandra, Alex (Amber), Gary (Sasha), Annabel (Brian), Kalee (Jason), Cory (Sarah), Derrick (Alishia), Hannah (Cody), Brittni, Tori, Parker, Isaiah, Maya, Mackeely, Samantha (Kerrick), Slade (Abby), Dax, Courtney, and Luke and many, many great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and another on the way. His sisters Rosella Yost and Charity Calvert, and brother Kenny Mack. In laws, Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. He was also Blessed to get to spend the last 2 years of his life with his loving Linda Cunningham faithfully by his side. His saving grace. 

 

Roy was an evangelist that loved sharing the gospel and spreading Gods love. He attended Era Weslyn Holiness Church in Era and Crossroads Community Church in London. He loved preaching, singing, playing his guitar, Nintendo, fishing, and cooking. He was also a big Cincinnati Reds fan and was proud that he was a US Navy Veteran. Most of all, he loved Jesus and his family. Roy also known as dad and Papa was loved by many and will be missed dearly. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 5-7 P.M., at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN STREET, MOUNT STERLING, OH, 43143.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the CROSSROADS COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2262 OH-56, London, OH 43140. Interment will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling, Ohio.
