Russell J. Williams, age 83, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died January 14, 2015 in Minford Retirement Center, Minford, Ohio. He was born December 13, 1931 in Martel, Ohio.
Member of First Church of the Nazarene in Mt. Sterling and Minford Church of the Nazarene.
He was retired from the Versa Corporation.
Preceded in death by parents, Russell C. and Cynthia (Thurman) Williams; sisters Ruth Taylor and Charlotte Vansickle.
He is survived by sister, Margie Love of Columbus; nieces Mary (Tom) Bailey of Piketon, Jean Ross of Pickerington, Sue Hartman of Sarasota, FL., Penny Taylor of Georgia; nephew Jim (Tina) Love of Columbus.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Mark Bales officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 12:00 noon.
