Sherman "Jack" Hughes, age 81 of Derby, Ohio passed away on January 29, 2015 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1933 in Columbus, OH.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, father Sherman, brothers Gordon and Richard.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruthann McPherson Hughes; 4 daughters Kim (Lonnie) Baily, Lisa (Curtis) Skaggs, Joellen Daulton, Stacy (Jack) Coey; 7 grandchildren Jerry, Kevin (Cassie), Laura Baily; Nicole, Cassie Skaggs; JT, Michael Daulton: 9 great-grandchildren Julie, Aryia, Nicolas, Christopher, Ashley, Savana, Tayla, Gavin & Darren; brother Norman Hughes.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Darbyville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 - 7 pm.
Family suggest memorials contributions may be given to a charity of your choice.
