Steve E. Jewett, age 62, took his final ride to Heaven surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Joan Jewett; brothers, Ronny and Danny Jewett; nephew, Bryan Jewett. Survived by wife, Staci; brother, Larry (Rose) Jewett; sons, Patrick, Jason (Stephanie), and Roy James (Brenda) Jewett; stepchildren, A’lan Jr.(Jessica) and Amber Johnston; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Friends may call Monday, October 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St. in Mt. Sterling, OH. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 21, at Pleasant Cemetery in Mt. Sterling.
