NEFF Sue M. Neff, age 69 of Columbus, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1941 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio. Daughter of Earl and Janet (Mason) Merritt.
Sue was a Mt. Sterling High School graduate, Class of 1959; Eugenie Chapter #507 O.E.S. of Reynoldsburg; accomplished seamstress and crafter; avid flower gardener; lover of cats; and admired for her home cooking ability.
Preceded in death by her father, Earl Merritt, Father-in-law & mother-in-law, Price and Frances Neff.
She is survived by husband, J. Paul Neff; sons, Douglas (Carol) Neff of Canal Winchester, Rande Neff of Columbus; grandsons, Daniel and Douglas; mother, Janet Merritt of Engelwood, FL.; brother, Jerry (Jeri) Merritt of New Albany; sister, Joy (Dennis) Clarity of Arlington, TN.; several nieces & nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4 – 8 p.m.
Family suggest memorial contributions to Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43205.
