Taylor K. (Flat Top) Richardson, age 71 of Mt. Sterling, passed away after his battle with cancer to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2012. He was born August 23, 1940 in Hillsboro, Ohio.
He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army; Armored; retired Teamsters; several Safety Citations.
Preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Gladys (King) Richardson; sisters Frances Bauer, Patricia Braud, & Pauline Comer; first wife Carolyn Kay Howland.
He is survived by wife Armita (Capocciama); sons Terry (Dawn) Phillip of Jeffersonville, Taylor Craig of Kiousville; brothers Hobart Richardson, Jr (Blanche) of Washington C.H., Randall Richardson (Rosemary) of Columbus, Gary Lee Richardson (Darlene) of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren Taylor King, Brooke, Kayla; great grandchild, Kael; many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Richardson, an Anatomical Donation to the Ohio State University has been requested. There will be a Memorial graveside service in Dennison Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
Family suggest memorial contributions may be given to Mt. Carmel Hospice c/o Mount Carmel Foundation 6150 E. Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43213-9924.
