Thomas Allen Dyer, Tom, age 56, born on August 31, 1956, passed away unexpectedly on July 12.
Tom was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Bonnie Dyer.
Tom is survived by his wife of 29 years, Donna, and daughter, Leigh Allison. Also survived by his siblings, Patty (Steve) Anthony, Pam (John) Huffman, and Tim (Deb) Dyer; aunts and uncle Dick and Jennie Frasher, Pauline Dyer as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tom worked as a loyal employee for more than 35 years at Holtz Industries in Newark, Ohio. Tom was an avid horseman, an extraordinary cowboy, generous with his time with family and friends, being mechanically inclined he could fix anything, an excellent father, loved his dogs and could even herd cats. Come celebrate his life with us. Blue jeans and boots are welcome.
The family will receive family and friends at PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013. A Memorial service will begin at 4:30 p.m. officiated by Reverend Densil Wright. Burial of ashes will be at a later date at the convenience of the family in Bethel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to a charity of your choice.
